🐴 MMS Maverick Stampede 2026
Lace up and show your Maverick pride at the Murphy Middle School Maverick Stampede 2026, a fun-filled 5K and Fun Run community event for runners and walkers of all ages!
Join us on Saturday, April 18, 2026, for a morning of fitness, school spirit, and family fun. All proceeds support MMS programs and student activities.
Whether you are running for a personal best or walking with friends and family, everyone is welcome to join the Maverick Stampede!

Time: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Check-in opens at 8:00 AM
- 5K begins at 9:00 AM
- 2.5K Fun Run & Dash starts at 10:30 AM

Get ready to run with the Mavericks! Choose between a 5K or Fun Run/Dash, or take on both with a special discounted bundle price!
Early Registration (until April 1):
- Ready, Set, Stampede 5K: $25
- Stride with Maverick Pride 2.5K Fun Run: $25
- Ready, Set, Stampede 5K & Stride with Maverick Pride 2.5K Bundle: $40
Regular & Onsite Registration (April 2 - April 18):
- Ready, Set, Stampede 5K: $30
- Stride with Maverick Pride 2.5K Fun Run or Dash: $30
- Ready, Set, Stampede 5K & Stride with Maverick Pride 2.5K Bundle: $50
All registrations include an event T-shirt* and race bib.
Register by April 1st to guarantee your T-shirt size and early-bird pricing.
Children 6 and under can run for FREE (t-shirt not included)

$10 off your registration.
Same-day registration will be available onsite the morning of the event.
*Register by Wednesday, April 1, 2026 to guarantee your event T-shirt. After April 1st, shirts will be available while supplies last
📦 Packet Pickup
- Friday, April 17 from 4:00 – 6:00 PM outside the MMS School gym, and
- Saturday, April 18 beginning at 8:00 AM at the check-in table.
