Dear Families and Staff,
   

       I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to serve another term as your PTA President. It is with a full heart and great excitement that I welcome you to a new year with the Murphy Middle School PTA. To continue walking alongside such an incredible community of families, teachers, staff, and volunteers is truly an honor I do not take lightly.

          At the heart of everything we do is connection—connection between home and school, between families and educators, and among every person who makes Murphy Middle School such a special place. This year, my goal is to continue building a warm, welcoming culture where our teachers feel genuinely honored and supported, and where parents feel informed, confident, and empowered to ask questions, share ideas, and get involved in ways that work best for them.

        Just as importantly, I want every parent and caregiver to know this: you belong here. Whether you are brand new to Murphy Middle School or have been part of our community for many years, the PTA is a place where questions are welcome, voices matter, and help is always within reach. If you are ever unsure where to go, who to ask, or how to get involved, please know that the PTA is here to guide and support you.

        I am also deeply thankful to be serving alongside a talented and dedicated Executive Board this year. This team brings passion, creativity, experience, and heart to everything they do. Together, we are committed to working openly, joyfully, and collaboratively to support our school and serve our families well.

       Joy is something I strive to embody in this role, because school communities grow stronger when they are rooted in positivity, kindness, and openness. My hope is that you feel that joy reflected in our events, our communications, and our partnerships throughout the year.

Thank you for trusting the PTA with your time, your talents, and your partnership. I encourage you to stay connected, reach out when needed, and join us whenever you are able. Every contribution matters, and every presence makes a difference.

     Here’s to a year filled with learning, gratitude, laughter, and community at Murphy Middle School. I am so glad we’re in this together.
