On behalf of MMS PTA, I am excited to welcome you to the '23-'24 school year. I am grateful and honored to serve as this year’s PTA President.
If this is your first year at Murphy Middle School, I would like to extend a very warm welcome to you, our newest families. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions through email or Facebook. If you are a seasoned Murphy Middle family, we are excited to have you and your kids back!
The mission of the PTA is to partner with parents, teachers, staff, and administrators to maintain Murphy Middle School’s tradition of excellence. I encourage every one of you to join our dedicated team of parent volunteers. The number one reason to join the PTA is to benefit the children. By becoming a member or volunteering, you will:
- Demonstrate to your child the importance you place on education.
- Gain valuable experiences and personal confidence.
- Put your skills and hobbies to good use for a good cause.
- Meet other parents and teachers.
Please take a moment to become a PTA member and sign up to volunteer! Complete the Volunteer Application here, and make sure to do ALL 5 STEPS at least three business days before your first volunteer event. Over the coming school year, come out to support our events and fundraisers! You can also shop at smile.amazon.com and choose Murphy Middle School PTA as the charitable organization your purchases will support. You can even download the Box Tops for Education app on your phone and scan digital and paper receipts to easily collect virtual box tops to help benefit our school!
MMS PTA continues to focus on improving communication with parents. We hope you will visit our Facebook page and bookmark our website for updates.
