The City of Murphy has extended its deadline for the Keep Murphy Beautiful contest to Friday, Feb. 1st. 

Keep Murphy Beautiful & Republic Services challenges YOU to create a recycling mascot! Using the theme "Don't Mess with Murphy" as your inspiration, create your poster featuring your mascot to help with litter prevention and recycling!

Grand prize winners will have their artwork displayed on the side of the Murphy Recycling Truck! 12 great job winners will get their artwork displayed on the side of our big belly trash cans throughout the city. 

WHO: Kids who live in Murphy or go to school in Murphy! Kindergarten through 10th grade! 

WHAT: Create a recycle mascot with the theme - "Don't Mess with Murphy" Categories: 5th grade - 6th grade 7th grade - 10th grade
